中文摘要 本研究探討民進黨執政後十個月內的核四新聞框架,檢視其遊戲框架與議題發展過程的關係。內容分析五家報紙中與核四相關之報導後,主要發現為:遊戲框架比例和議題發展中的事件性質有關,即議題發展過程中出現的標記事件可能產生輸方與贏方時,遊戲框架比例較高。當記者成為主要發言者時,遊戲框架詮釋公共議題的比例較高。雖然框架性質和議題發展中的事件性質有關,但當標記事件過後一段時間,遊戲框架的比例回復到常數。


英文摘要 While scholars in political communication have argued that the strategy frame was dominant in election news, this study attempts to examine the game-oriented news frame in the news coverage on a controversial public issue, the Nuclear Power Plant Four. After 2,488 news reports in five newspapers were content analyzed, this paper demonstrates the proportions of game-framed news are related to the nature of benchmark events during the process of the issue development. As the event implies winners and losers, the percentage of game-framed news hereafter within one week is higher. Furthermore, it is evidenced that news analysis contains more game-framed coverage than the straight news. Although the percentage of game-framed news is related to the nature of the benchmark event, the proportions of game-framed news were close to constant after one week past the event.
